I don't believe in anonymous critique in a game, so anon commenting is disabled, and comments are not screened. If you're really worried about it being seen by the public, please, by all means, just shoot me an email/pm/im. I promise I don't bite; I actually quite appreciate people honestly telling me how and why I suck and I won't think badly of you for it. :P

Jan. 13th, 2013 11:48 am[ Age ] 19
[ Height ] 184cm
[ Weight ] 72kg
[ Medical Info ] Perfectly healthy!
[ Birthday ] 1982-Apr-07 (Li Shao Xiang) He has no canon birthday, but dates and ages of some characters given during certain events in the past make 1992 the most likely birth year.
[ Eyes ] dark brown
[ Hair ] black. his hair grows out during the series, so just assume it's the longer version :D;
[ Physical traits ] Nothing out of the ordinary. He wears a Siman, which is like a glorified wristwatch that can make video/3D holographic phone calls and stores his weapon, the Mounted Steed Deep Iron Spear. It can also be used to send Morse code type messages.
[ What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her ] Anything, really. Just keep in mind that the Silver Dimension has the dumb, so he's really, really stupid when it comes to simple or common knowledge see: 2+2=22 OR 47, sentences with more than 6 words are WORKS OF GENIUSSSSS (though this is assuming Mandarin is being spoken/Chinese written). Mentioning (or actually) eating chickens around him will cause him to freak out and lose his shit--chickens are critically endangered in the Silver Dimension (there are only about a hundred left; to be gifted with a chicken is basically the highest honor someone can get), and eating them is considered ridiculously taboo. . . . That said, if he likens you to a chicken, it's actually a compliment . . .sorry Ankh, sorry Sano
[ Abilities ] Super-speed, enhanced senses (sight and hearing), agility, inhuman strength. He is an incredibly powerful martial artist. He is, in fact, a Power-user similar to Jiu Wu and Xia Tian, but being from the Silver Dimension, he is unable to use it in the same way they can. The Silver Dimension's Power-users merely think of themselves as strong martial artists who are able to control their qi, and are for the most part unaware of their magical energy.
Special Abilities: Ma Chao specializes in an ability called "Cotton Sweet Fist" (棉花甜甜拳) to counter strong physical attacks. However, if someone uses a soft method, such as taichi, he can easily be overpowered. He initially utilizes this power to make his body soft as cotton, but from the 15th round onward, he begins to utilize it to create a cloud to attack his opponents. It was mentioned by Zhang Fei in the 2nd round that he can withstand the physical attacks of at least two hundred people. It is rare ability used to soften the molecular level of the user and neutralize a physical attack and attack in the form of clouds. This ability is usually specialized by women, but thanks to his mother, Ma Chao becomes the first man to use it.
“Xu Mi Quan” (虛彌拳) is Ma Chao's most powerful attack inherited from his ancestors. One hit from this attack corresponds to thousands of hits to the opponent.
[ Notes for the Psychics ] He is really, really simple-minded (and really just completely dumb). You won't get much out of him, but he might get upset if you bring up the fact he caused the heart attack that killed Bo Ren, his best friend as a child. That said, although he cannot use magic in the form of spells and such, he will ping as some sort of magical being.
[ Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc? ] Just ask! Because of what happened with Bo Ren, he really dislikes violence and fighting, so he'll give someone challenging him the chance to hit him three times to try to knock him down, and then leave. He'll fight if he has to, which is to say someone pushes him too far or someone is in danger (though he may sometimes tell someone else that they should fight someone for reason XYZ).
[ Maim/Murder/Death ] all of it. just give me a heads up.
[ Hugging/kissing/other non-violent physical contact ] While he's not likely to shove someone away, he's more comfortable with it if you know him (hugging/touching). If he knows you well, he might drape on you.
[ Cooking ] He can feed himself.

Character: Ma Chao
Series: K.O. 3an Guo
Character Age: 19
Canon: Though the universe holds twelve dimensions, we find ourselves in one: the Silver Dimension, where common knowledge is considered genius, no one questions the messenger chickens, and high schools are high-ranking military powers. When a group from both the Gold and Iron Dimensions visit the Silver Dimension, they accidentally injure a young man and must take him back to their dimension to heal. They leave his Iron Dimension counterpart in his place so that no one will know he has gone missing. This counterpart joins the Silver Dimension's protagonists, who have recently come to Dong Han Academy-and in doing so they become part of something bigger: An all-out war between the country's schools. Amid the fighting they gain friends, allies, and enemies, and have plenty of time for romance and silly teenage shenanigans.
Ma Chao is a(n incredibly stupid) student of Dong Han Academy, and one of the Five Tiger Generals. He was taught kung fu by his mother, and his family members are well-known for being wushu experts. The style of martial arts he was taught makes him strong against strong attacks, and weak against weak attacks. While he is a frighteningly powerful martial artist, he is kind and friendly almost to a fault, and he dislikes fighting--he's more likely to let an opponent hit him until they get bored. Generally outgoing and a practical joker, he takes things seriously when necessary and he'll put down his life to protect people who need it. Though far from the brightest crayon in the box, he has the occasional stroke of brilliance and is a fairly decent strategist. When not fighting or doing student-type things, he enjoys surfing, and owns a surf shop.

Tell us about yourself in a few words.
I'm Ma Chao, courtesy Ma Mengqi, but my friends just call me Chao. I'm 19 years old and I come from a family of martial artists. My mom even wrote the book "Harry Potter and the Kung Fu Prince". People say I'm a really strong fighter, but I dislike violence so I don't do it unless I have to. I don't have to fight anyone in camp, do I? It really cuts into the time I could be surfing, and I heard there's an awesome beach. I own a surf shop, so if you know anyone who needs to buy a board or wants to learn, send 'em to me! I can still have that here, right?
Why are you joining our happy community?
My best friend Zhong said he got a letter saying Dong Han was going to be rebuilt here in camp! I let him read it because I'm really bad at reading and writing and he's smart. He said he was going, and we don't go anywhere without each other; we've been best friends since we were little kids! It sounds like it would be lots of fun to get everyone together again! It was very kind of that Ms. Sayre to go through all of the effort to do this. --Does that mean she'll be the new principal? Do we have to get a new student body president? Will they know what 4x5 is?
Do you think you are good in a crisis? Why?
My sworn brothers and I had to fight off a lot of bad people before, all the schools were going against each other. I'm good at staying calm if I have to, and I can come up with some good strategies in a pinch. But if those don't work, I've got my fists and my Mounted Steed Deep Iron Spear to make up for it. My dad thinks I'm good at it, because he called me back from Dong Han to help his army fight. I felt really bad about leaving my sworn brothers, but Zhong and some of my other friends came later to help us, so we could all go back to Dong Han together after it was over.
What if the crisis involved the end of the world? Please explain.
One of them did! See, there was this guy who was trying to break our dimension or something (I didn't understand any of it, I just pretended I did) and we had to fight my friend's dad and he was doing this thing where he kept calling on more monsters like the New Year spirits, but they didn't give me a red packet. . . . I really wanted a red packet. Anyway, I don't know if I could do it all by myself, but with the other Tiger Generals and our sworn brothers, we can do anything!
Can you swim? Y/N
I'm great at it. I've been surfing for a really long time, and you can't surf unless you can swim!
- Could you still do it under extreme distress? Y/N
Of course! If you panic in water you'll drown, and then you won't get back to shore?
-- While dragging someone else to shore? Y/N
Aren't there any lifeguards around? I'm pretty strong and I can swim really well, so it wouldn't be a problem. Unless they were struggling a lot. And it'd be easier with a surfboard. Is there a surfboard?
--- While something, let’s say a tentacle, tries to drag you under? Y/N
Why tentacles? Is it a sea monster? I guess I can say yes here.
---- How would you handle that situation?
Is this a test? I'm really bad at tests! I guess I'd try to call Zhong first, because it's easier with more people and he always helps me. But if he couldn't come I'd try to make the other person float and use my Xu Mi Quan--it's like getting hit thousands of times all at once, so whatever was trying to drown us would have to let go! My grandpa taught me that one. Or I'd try to. I don't know if it would work in water.
